1. Do you offer workshop manuals for download? |
When you go through the order process you will find also the option to download the manual. When you opt for this shipping method, we prepare the files for download individually for you and you will get the download information within 24h.
Orders made on Friday after 5PM will be processed on Monday.
Advice: Who opt for download will not get any additional physical medium like CD, DVD, Blu-ray or Pendrive because in this case no shipping cost will be applied in the order. |

2. How do I know the download time when I read 2CD or 4DVD? |
Here some time examples:
Consider that 1CD has about 650MB or 0.65GB and 1DVD has about 4.7GB. Multiply the amount of CDs/DVDs to get the whole download volume.
If you have a line
with 1Mbit/s you will need about 02:23:09 to download 1GB
with 2Mbit/s you will need about 01:11:34 to download 1GB
with 8Mbit/s you will need about 00:17:53 to download 1GB
with 10Mbit/s you will need about 00:14:18 to download 1GB
with 24Mbit/s you will need about 00:05:57 to download 1GB
These examples are theoretically. Impairments like your router, your location and last but not least your computer speed are important to reach a fast connection. |

3. How much is the effort to install the workshop software? |
Software supplied by us is mainly installed in VMware.
This is due to the following reasons:
The installation of technical software is a lot more complex than the
installation of a simple Windows program and even for an IT expert who does not
know this kind of software, hardly to install.
Compatibility with Linux is guaranteed.
The workshop software can be operated under any Windows/Linux version.
Support for problems is for us a lot easier outgoing from an isolated
environment, since no individual PC influences have to be considered.
The installation is reduced to WinRAR for unpacking and the VMware Player to
operate the workshop software. (Both programs are free for private use). No
other system settings or installations such as Apache/Tomcat Server, Microsoft .NET, JAVA, SVG-Viewer, Acrobat-Reader or other development environments are required on the PC. Everything is already pre-installed and configured in the VM. |

4. I am totally frustrated because I did not get along with the installation. I've imagined it easier. What should I do? |
Send us an email and explain us in detail the problem. There is a solution for everything. |

5. I find in your product description that the last software update from your workshop program is older than 5 years. As I use the latest version of Windows, raises for me the question whether the software runs well with my operating system. |
Because workshop computer machines are often not up to date, professional workshop software is basically programmed conservative and not generally suitable for use with the latest operating systems.
In addition, it is for us not possible to check all programs of their suitability when a new version of operating system comes on the market in a range of about 6,000 offered programs.
The solution to this problem is to provide a virtual machine. We have in all cases where compatibility problems are to be expected with the latest operating system, the workshop software preinstalled at the necessary operating system within a virtual machine (VMware). By this measure, the workshop program can be easily loaded with a few clicks.

6. I know how to turn a computer on and off, and I can use my email program. Can I install my workshop manual with this knowledge? |
With professional workshop manuals you cannot simply insert the CD and work with the manual. These manuals or rather workshop software must be installed first. Although there are no deep computer skills required for the installation, but extended basic knowledge in PC operation should already be present. |

7. I don’t know how I can place an order. |

8. The description mentioned that the catalogue is for the Japanese or other Asian market and will be delivered only in Japanese or other Asian language. Can I get this software also in another language or run this software on computers with other language? |
No. Software that is designed for the Japanese or other Asian market is not supplied in other western language and needs also the operating system in the corresponding language. Available languages you can find in the product description. |

9. My vehicle was manufactured for the Japanese, African or the American market. Can I find this model in an European catalogue? |
Normally no. For the respective markets exists different catalogues. But if you know the sales designation and respect the model differences between the different markets may be this catalogue also can be useful. |

10. Somebody can see/enter my personal data sheet or can get my password? |
No. Your dates are protected through your personal password. Other participants can not inspect your dates in any case. Even our employees don’t know your password. |

11. For the reason that technical documents from manufacturer for me appear more trustworthy as books from Bucheli, Motorbuch, Chilton, Bentley, Haynes or Lea, I'm looking for a factory manual. Can I trust you that the manual is really issued by the manufacturer, when I read: Factory repair and workshop manual? |
You can fully trust us. We strive to offer only manuals that are issued directly from the manufacturer publishers. Workshop Manuals from Bucheli, Motorbuch, Chilton, Bentley, Haynes or Lea we offer only for vehicles of which we could not find an original manufacturer manual. In addition, the offer description includes a corresponding note. |

12. If I order a CD which requires an installation key or an activation code, is this supplied? |
For any software that requires an activation key, this key is also included in the purchase price. Involve this key into the package is mostly not possible, as all these keys depends on the MAC ADDRESS or a proprietary code of the respective computer. We need this code to calculate you the appropriate activation key for this machine. Any CD includes an advice how this code is to be determined. |

13. I bought a program with you who need a license to open it. Is this license for life time? |
Yes and No. Some programs have a usable time of about six (6) months others of one (1) year and with others you can use the license for life. This is NOT a restriction from us, this is a factory restriction.
Programs who have a limited life time are usually professional workshop programs with more than one update a year and are sold only in our restricted area.
The first license code we supply for free and it is included in the program price. If the program you bought will cease to work you must buy a new license. |

14. My workshop manual has stopped to work. What has happened? |
First check if your MAC ADDRESS is still the same. Unfortunately is this code very vulnerable and change often when hardware was changed on your computer.
Since all types of licenses are depends from the MAC ADDRESS of your computer the activation code will change too when the MAC ADDRESS has changed and the workshop manual cease to work for you. In cases like this we supply two (2) new activation keys every year for free... three (3) years long. From fourth year on you must buy this license every time your license disappear. |

15. Is it possible to get the workshop manual printed in paper ware and not on CD? |
Since the introduction of the "digital CD age" there is no more book ware from the manufacturers . Books has been removed for rationalization reasons and because of the complexity of today's vehicles. Our goal is to offer always the most recent data for each vehicle. Books from publishers such as "Bucheli", "Motorbuch", "Chilton", "Bentley", "Haynes" or "Lea" are generally provided with basic data and are no longer updated after publication. For example, Service Bulletins with references to possibly precaution performed repairs are not included in these books. This is one of the reasons why we do not sell manuals in paper form.
If you do not want to take the PC/Laptop with you to the vehicle, simply use the print function. All workshop manuals have the option to print everything. |

16. I would like to return the product because I have changed my mind. How can I do it? |
You can easily return a product within 7 days of receipt with one restriction; After you have received the password, which makes you able to work with the manual, a return is not possible anymore. |

17. Why are your manuals packed with WinRAR? |
Since we cooperate with online payment systems such as PayPal and Skrill and these service providers expect an acknowledgment of receipt in the event of any inconsistencies, each customer must request the necessary password by email after receiving the manual. Since no manual without re-programming offers the possibility of password protection, our manuals are packed with WinRAR.
